President Trump shared his condolences Wednesday to those impacted by a shooting in a Florida high school.

“My prayers and condolences to the families of the victims of the terrible Florida shooting. No child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an American school,” Mr. Trump tweeted.

He added that he just spoke with Florida Gov. Rick Scott on the situation.

“Just spoke to Governor Rick Scott. We are working closely with law enforcement on the terrible Florida school shooting,” he tweeted.

Sen. Bill Nelson, Florida Democrat, told Fox News that there were “many deaths” from those involved in the shooting, but local authorities have not confirmed that information.
