CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts is holding workshops on how to complete competitive applications for its grant programs.

The workshops will address who’s eligible to apply; what types of projects are funded; how to use the online grant system; and how applications are evaluated.

Fiscal Year 2019 grant categories include arts in health; artist residencies in schools; general project grants for community engagement; arts apprenticeships; and youth arts projects.

Workshops are scheduled at the Rochester Performance and Arts Center on Feb. 20 from 1 p.m.-2 p.m.; The Currier Museum in Manchester on Feb. 22 from 1 p.m.-2 p.m.; the North Conway Music Center on Feb. 27 from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.; and the Library Arts Center in Newport on March 1 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
