DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a 60-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Durham, and they’ve arrested a suspect.

A Durham Police Department news release said that 60-year-old Willie Lee Gibson was found stabbed by officers around 1 a.m. Sunday. The officers were called to a strip mall and found the victim lying on the ground of a parking lot with the stab wound, according to the release. He died at a hospital.

A news release says that 20-year-old Tysheem Leblanc has been charged with murder. A police spokesman didn’t immediately respond to an email asking whether Leblanc has an attorney who can comment on the case.

Police are continuing to investigate the stabbing.
