LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a man was found stabbed to death near Mount Charleston.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says a hiker reported seeing the body around 5:10 p.m. Sunday between mile markers 9 and 11 along State Route 157.
Police say the body had been there for at least a month, and was partially decomposed.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office will identify the man. Anyone who has information is asked to call police.
