A vocal critic of President Trump throughout his time in office, Sen. Bernie Sanders committed to doing more of the same in 2018.

The Vermont independent posted his New Year’s resolution on Twitter Sunday night, telling his followers that “we will not only intensify the struggle against Trumpism, we will increase our efforts to spread the progressive vision in every corner of the land.”

The senator, who lost the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination to Hillary Clinton, recently called upon President Trump to resign due to sexual assault allegations and has described Mr. Trump’s election as an “unprecedented disaster.”

Mr. Sanders was not the only one congressman to cite the White House in new Year’s resolution. Texas Congressman Al Green, a Democrat, accused Mr. Trump of bigotry.
