WEST WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - A Rhode Island man already on probation for computer-related criminal charges is facing new allegations of sharing child pornography over the internet.

State police say 36-year-old David Hamlin was arrested Tuesday after a search of his West Warwick apartment and charged with possession and transfer of child pornography. Police seized several digital devices during the court-authorized search which will be subjected for further forensic analysis. Police say additional charges may be pending.

Hamlin faces arraignment Wednesday.

Hamlin was arrested in 2016 on a charge of transfer of child pornography, but pleaded no contest to an amended charge of access to computer for fraudulent purposes.

It could not immediately be determined if he has a lawyer.
