CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - Two West Virginia physicians and a business partner have been indicted on charges that they illegally distributed controlled substances from a drug treatment center in Weirton.
U.S. Attorney Bill Powell said in a news release that Dr. Felix Brizuela Jr. of Harrison City, Pennsylvania, also faces charges accusing him of illegally distributing controlled substances in Monongalia County from 2013 to 2015 and accepting financial kickbacks in exchange for directing urine samples for drug testing to a certain company.
A federal grand jury also indicted Dr. George P. Naum of Wheeling and Eric Drake of Weirton on drug distribution charges. Drake is also accused of maintaining a drug-involved premises.

The statement says the three allegedly conspired to distribute controlled substances from Advance Healthcare Inc. in Weirton from 2008 to 2016.
