77-year-old woman, 53-year-old son found dead in Georgia

OGLETHORPE, Ga. (AP) - A mother and son have been found dead in Georgia.

GBI Special Agent Terry Howard told WMAZ-TV that the victims found Friday at a home in Oglethorpe are 77-year-old Ruthe Bracknell and 53-year-old Mark Abbott. They both lived at the home

No cause of death information has yet been released. Howard says it could take a while for autopsy results to come in.

Authorities are referring to the case as a death investigation.
