MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A judge has set bond for a pregnant woman accused of driving drunk and crashing a car into a bar and liquor store in Minot, injuring an employee.

Twenty-two-year-old Mariah Brien asked the Ward County judge for a lenient bond because she is seven months pregnant and has a 16-month-old daughter at home. The judge set a $1,500 cash or surety bond Wednesday.

The Minot Daily News says a probable cause affidavit says Brien drove her boyfriend’s car into The Landing Bar and Bottle Shop Tuesday night, shattering windows and glass doors. A clerk sustained minor injuries.

She’s charged with leaving the scene of an injury accident and providing false information to police. Brien pleaded guilty to a municipal drunken driving charge Wednesday and was given a suspended jail sentence of four days.
