INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana State Police say a wrong-way driver was killed when her car crashed head-on into a semitrailer on Interstate 465 in Indianapolis.

They say 24-year-old Milca B. Alvarado Polanco of Indianapolis was westbound in the eastbound lanes when she hit the semitrailer about 5:30 a.m. Thursday near the interchange with U.S. 31 on the city’s far north side.

Troopers say they don’t know why Polanco was driving the wrong way.
