GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - University of North Dakota police say a 17-year-old male has been arrested on possible charges of criminal trespass and attempted sexual assault of a female student in her dorm room.
The teen was arrested Sunday. KFGO reports he is not affiliated with the university. Police say the female student awoke to a male in her room at Noren Hall early Saturday. Authorities say the suspect tried to remove the victim’s clothes, but left a short time later.
Police are also looking for an accomplice that left with the suspect in a car. Officials say the two may have burglarized several rooms in the dorm.
