BILOXI, Miss. (AP) — Ben DeLuzio had two hits and scored two runs, and Bo Takahashi struck out 10 over 6 2/3 innings as the Jackson Generals topped the Biloxi Shuckers 6-1 on Tuesday.
Takahashi (1-3) allowed one run and two hits while walking two to pick up the win.
Jackson went up 2-0 in the third after Domingo Leyba hit an RBI triple, driving in Jay Gonzalez.
After Jackson added two runs in the fourth, the Shuckers cut into the deficit in the sixth inning when Corey Ray hit a solo home run.
Trey Supak (0-6) went five innings, allowing four runs and six hits in the Southern League game. He also struck out two and walked three.
