Manny Machado needed to play defense, but first, let him take a selfie.

Machado, who at the time of publishing was still a member of the Baltimore Orioles, has been a constant topic of trade discussions as he nears the end of his contract. Baltimore is having a bad season — 39.5 games behind the Boston Red Sox who are leading the American League East.

So, when Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp doubled during Tuesday’s All-Star Game, Machado took a moment between plays to take a selfie with a potential new teammate.

The 26-year-old infielder is taking part in his fourth All-Star Game. Machado’s hitting .315 this season with 24 home runs and 65 RBI.

Machado has been of interest to a number of MLB teams, such as the Milwaukee Brewers, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies. But the Dodgers link has picked up the most steam, ESPN’s Buster Olney reported.

Machado is wearing his Orioles gear during the All-Star Game, but it might not be too long before he dons another color, perhaps Dodgers blue.
