HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a car smashed head-on into a limousine leaving a wedding reception in Long Island, leaving six people injured.
Authorities say the crash happened around 1:35 a.m. Sunday in Huntington when the driver of a Mercedes sedan crossed over into the oncoming lane and struck the limo.
The driver of the Mercedes fled from the scene and was picked up by another driver in a dark-colored sedan.
Police say the five limo passengers and its driver have been hospitalized for non life-threatening injuries.
