BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 30-year-old Mandan man standing on a highway near Max was struck and killed by a pickup.

The patrol says it happened at about 1:19 a.m. Saturday on Highway 83. The man’s name was not released.

The driver and a passenger in the pickup were not injured.
