CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Republican Gov. Chris Sununu has filed for re-election to serve a second, two-year term.

Sununu filed for the 2018 election on Thursday. He is unopposed in the Sept. 11 primary. He had defeated Democrat Colin Van Ostern in the 2016 election.

Democrat Steve Marchand filed his candidacy for governor Thursday. Democrat Molly Kelly was expected to file Friday, the last day of the filing period.

Libertarian Jilletta Jarvis also has filed for governor.
