BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - Police say an 18-year-old passenger in a vehicle driven by a 15-year-old boy has died in a rollover during a police pursuit.
The driver and two other teens ages 18 and 16 were also hurt in the crash on Route 8 in Bridgeport reported at about 6 p.m. Thursday.
State police identified the victim as Corbin Cooper, of Bridgeport. He was in the front passenger seat of the vehicle and was ejected during the crash.
Police say the vehicle was being followed in connection with an armed robbery.
The SUV went out of control on Route 8, went over the guard rail and crashed into two trees on the side of the highway before rolling over.
Police say they recovered a gun from the wreckage.
