NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say one person suffered minor injuries when a section of ceiling tile fell onto a subway platform in Brooklyn.

It happened at the Borough Hall subway station Wednesday afternoon.

Structural engineers were at the scene. Authorities say an initial survey indicated that the collapse was caused by water damage.

The MTA says commuters should expect delays on the 2, 3, 4 and 5 lines.

A photo shows a pile of debris on the platform with people mulling about.
