SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Scottsdale say a man was killed in a hit-and-run after laid down in the road for an unknown reason.
They say the body of 24-year-old Landry Forkiner was discovered in the roadway at the intersection of Scottsdale Road and McDowell Road about 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police say it was apparent Forkiner had been struck by a car.
They are looking for any witnesses to the fatal hit-and-run.
Police say they recovered evidence at the scene and photos captured on the intersection’s traffic cameras and have narrowed the search for the make of vehicle involved.
