LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Las Vegas Boy Scout troop says thousands of dollars’ worth of camping gear was stolen from its trailer.

Anthony Cervantes, Scout Master, Troop 340, says $15,000 worth of camping gear was stolen from their trailer this week at the Lamb of God Lutheran Church and School in Las Vegas.

Boy Scout Adam Garcia tells KLAS-TV that the cost represents six years of fundraising.

The troop had a big camping trip scheduled less than two weeks from now.

Garcia says he is unsure of what they will do without the equipment.
