UMATILLA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a man found dead on a boat in a Florida lake was likely struck by lightning.
News outlets report that 44-year-old Jeffrey Moyer was found in a pontoon boat Wednesday evening on a Umatilla lake, northwest of Orlando.
A medical examiner determined that Moyer had died from electrocution.
National Weather Service radar showed a thunderstorm with lightning strikes in the area Wednesday afternoon.
