JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A Mississippi woman has been arrested on charges of prescription fraud.

Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics Director John Dowdy says agents arrested 31-year-old Ashley L. Washington, of Jackson, Wednesday at a health clinic she visited as a patient.

Agents accuse her in one charge of obtaining 180 doses of oxycodone by fraud. She’s accused in another charge of obtaining 90 doses of oxycodone by fraud.

Washington remained jailed in Hinds County as of Thursday. It’s unclear if she has an attorney to speak for her.

Dowdy says the bureau investigated the case for four months.
