WASHINGTON, Conn. (AP) - Two people were injured when a bear ran in front of their motorcycle on a road in rural western Connecticut.
State police say the driver and his passenger suffered minor injuries.
Sixty-two-year-old Paul Padua, of Norfolk, was driving on Route 202 in Washington at the time of the accident Sunday afternoon. He and his passenger, 53-year-old Theresa Kochiss-Padua, were taken to Danbury Hospital.
The motorcycle had to be towed.
It was unclear whether the bear was hurt.
