ATLANTA (AP) - Police say two people have been shot and killed on Atlanta’s southeast side.
Atlanta police Officer Lisa Bender says the man and woman were found shot Sunday morning on Bromack Drive.
Police say the woman was dead at the scene. The man was taken to a hospital and later died.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victims as 18-year-old Chloe Dowdy and 25-year-old Christopher Welch.
Bender told news outlets that investigators believe the suspect and victims were acquaintances. She said some type of altercation occurred, resulting in the gunfire.
Police have been searching for the suspect.
