PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Transportation officials say five passengers were injured in an accident involving two regional rail trains in north Philadelphia.

Police say two southbound Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority trains “made minor contact” at the Temple University station shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said five people with injuries described as minor were transported to Temple University Hospital.



SEPTA is investigating.
