SANBORN, N.D. (AP) - A Sanborn man has died after crashing his pickup truck into Hobart Lake in Barnes County.
The Highway Patrol says 64-year-old Terry Swenson was driving on a Barnes County road Monday morning when his pickup went off the road and became submerged in the lake. A Valley City dive team rescued him, but he died from his injuries Tuesday morning in a Valley City hospital.
He was traveling alone. Authorities are still investigating what led to the crash.
