GREENWICH, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut woman has been killed in a car crash that sent debris flying into other vehicles.
The Greenwich Time reports 46-year-old Hongying Tian was ejected from her Volkswagen on Tuesday night after it crossed a median, breached a metal guide rail and struck a tree.
State troopers responded to calls about a serious accident and found Tian’s engine had caught fire, and two other vehicles had been struck with debris. The Avon woman was taken to Norwalk Hospital where she died.
Passengers in the other vehicles were not injured.
