DENVER (AP) - Authorities say the majority of fingerprints recovered from the crime scene belong to the Colorado man who is being re-tried for the death of his wife in 2001.
KUSA-TV reports former state forensic fingerprint analyst Darren Jewkes testified Wednesday for the ongoing trial of Michael Blagg.
Jewkes told the suburban Denver courtroom that investigators were never able to find a usable set of fingerprints for Jennifer Blagg or the Blaggs’ daughter who disappeared.

Jewkes says there should have been more unidentified fingerprints at the Grand Junction house that likely could have belonged to the mother and daughter.
Prosecutors say Michael Blagg shot his wife in the head while she slept.
Blagg’s lawyers say the investigation was tainted. They claim a child predator killed Jennifer Blagg and kidnapped their daughter.
