BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s Game and Fish Department says 554 hunting licenses remain for the spring wild turkey season after the license lottery.

The agency offered 5,655 licenses for the spring hunt, which opens April 14 and runs through May 20.

The remaining licenses in six units will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, starting March 20.

Spring turkey licenses are available only to North Dakota residents.
