VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - A review by the Clark County prosecutor’s office of a Vancouver bank robbery in which police fatally shot the suspect has found the officers involved acted lawfully.
The Columbian reported Friday that the evidence was clear that the officers had a very reasonable fear that if they did not fire at David Hamilton, he would have killed one or all of them, according to the review.
Hamilton, of Centralia, was shot and killed following a bank robbery June 6, 2017.

Police say the suspect, later identified as Hamilton, entered the bank wearing a ski mask and carrying a semi-automatic rifle.
The review says after a short chase, Hamilton opened his car door and opened fire soon after officers ran him off the road. Vancouver police officers Erik Jennings, James Burgara and Richard Rich all returned fire.
