ERIE, Pa. (AP) - Authorities have released the names of two women allegedly slain by a man who then killed himself in a northwestern Pennsylvania home, but they say they still don’t know the motive for the crime.

The Erie Times-News reports that the Erie County coroner’s office identified the two women Monday as 41-year-old Tanesha Harkless and 63-year-old Dorothy Gilkey and ruled their deaths homicides.

The man accused of shooting them early Saturday was identified as 75-year-old Alfred Phillips, whose death was ruled a suicide. Police said the three shared an apartment in Erie.

Erie police said Gilkey was pronounced dead at a hospital but told an officer on the way to the hospital that Phillips had shot her. Police said Gilkey was Philipps’ stepdaughter and Harkless was her daughter.
