ROCKLAND, Maine (AP) - Police in Maine say a man was seriously injured in a fall from the deck of a pub over the weekend.

The Bangor Daily News reports the injury happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday at the Time Out Pub in Rockland. The paper reports the man fell from the pub’s 17-foot-high deck and hit his head on pavement.

The victim was in critical condition on Monday at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Police aren’t yet releasing his name.

This is the second time a patron has fallen off the deck at the pub. Twenty-five-year-old Mark Boynton, of Rockland, was killed when he fell off the deck in June 2015.
