PHOENIX (AP) - Police have identified a woman who was killed in a chain-reaction crash in west Phoenix last week.

Phoenix police say the victim was 51-year-old Adeline Gross.

They say officers responded to the crash site at the intersection of North 83rd Avenue and West Indian School Road around 9 p.m. Friday.

Police say a 17-year-old boy driving a pickup truck collided with a car in the intersection.

The force of the collision sent the car into the vehicle Gross was driving.

She was stopped at a light at the time and pronounced dead on scene.

Police say the teen driver of the truck was evaluated and showed no signs of impairment.

They say the fatal crash remains under investigation.
