ATLANTA (AP) - One person is in critical condition following a head-on collision with a school bus in Atlanta.

Atlanta Public Schools spokesman Seth Coleman tells news outlets that the Therrell High School students and bus driver were not seriously injured Wednesday, although the Atlanta Fire Department says two students were taken to a hospital.

Atlanta police say the driver of the Toyota Scion and passenger were extricated from the vehicle and hospitalized. The driver is in critical condition with broken bones and a head injury.

Atlanta police say the Toyota driver was at fault.
