DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - A 6-year-old boy who was shot in his Georgia home has died.
News outlets report DeKalb County police confirm Z’Mari Mitchell died at a hospital Wednesday, following Saturday’s shooting.
Police say a 17-year-old boy fired 31 shots at Mitchell’s home during an argument over a social media post. One of those bullets struck the child, who was playing in his living room.
The teenager remains at large.
