FRISCO, Colo. (AP) - Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers say they have identified two people who appeared in a video and a photo either approaching or feeding moose in separate incidents in Frisco.

The Summit Daily News reports the two incidents happened over the weekend and quickly went viral on social media.

The state wildlife agency says both incidents have been addressed and one of the individuals was cited after tips from the public.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife says a woman was cited for illegally feeding wildlife while giving her a warning for the harassment of wildlife.

District Wildlife Manager Elissa Slezak says the agency’s priority is education, preventing human injuries or death, and the harassment of wildlife. She says wildlife officers do issue citations when they are warranted.

The agency is investigating a third incident that also happened over the weekend.
