LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say a 2-year-old girl has died after she was struck by an SUV outside a pediatric office in southwest Las Vegas last month.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the child died Tuesday from the injuries she sustained when she was hit in the office’s parking lot on April 23.
Las Vegas police say the girl was with her family when she walked out from between two parked cars when the SUV neared.
Police say the child received a severe head injury.
The 35-year-old driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers. Police say the man did not appear to be impaired.
