DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - The Latest on evacuation of Daytona Beach International Airport (all times local):

10:10 a.m.

A central Florida airport was evacuated after a man who had been taken into custody for running naked around the terminal told deputies that a bomb was planted in a restroom.

Volusia County Sheriff Michael Chitwood said no explosives were found early Friday at the Daytona Beach International Airport. Instead, deputies found the man’s clothes in a backpack hidden in some drywall in a restroom under construction.

The man was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation. The sheriff says he had taken drugs the night before and was known to local law enforcement.

An airport spokesman says no flights were canceled, just rescheduled. Passengers had to wait outside the airport for about an hour and half.
