NEW YORK (AP) - The New York Police Department is investigating the death of a man found in a building with a stab wound to his chest.

Police responding to a 911 call went to 1819 Weeks Ave. in the Bronx around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Officers found the man, a resident of the building identified as 52-year-old William Easter.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.
