HERNANDO, Miss. (AP) - A Mississippi sheriff’s office says it is expanding its search for an inmate and a woman who may have helped him escape.
WREG-TV reports the Desoto County Sheriff’s Department is searching for 42-year-old inmate Phillip Herron and the woman, Lauren Bland. Herron escaped from a work detail Tuesday in Hernando.
The sheriff’s office posted on Facebook Thursday that there is a $500 cash reward out for both Herron and Bland for any tips leading to their arrest.
