TAFTVILLE, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison in Maine for his role in the distribution of crack, cocaine and heroin.
The U.S. Attorney’s office in Maine says 40-year-old Erick Adams, of Taftville, was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute 280 grams of more of cocaine base.
He also pleaded guilty to a charge of being an armed career criminal in possession of firearms.
Court records show Adams and others were accused of distributing the drugs from multiple locations in Biddeford, Maine between December 2014 and January 2016.
Adams and a co-conspirator were arrested at a hotel room in Saco, Maine Jan. 6, 2016.
