CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a new exhibit that chronicle’s the zoo’s history.
The exhibition that will open Sunday and run throughout the summer will recount the zoo’s history that began in 1868 when it received two pairs of swans from New York’s Central Park commissioners.
The exhibition will include family-friendly activities and drawings to win prizes such as cruises on the Chicago River and anniversary-themed Twilight Safari walking tours.
