TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a man is facing felony charges for allegedly assaulting a Tucson firefighter.
They say 31-year-old Jason Coleman is being held in the Pima County jail on a $10,000 bond on suspicion of two counts of aggravated assault on a firefighter.
Tucson Fire crews were called Monday morning about a possible fall injury.
They found a man who needed medical assistance and two bystanders who were offering advice on how to care for the patient.
The bystanders were asked to leave the area, but one proceeded to forcefully offer his own treatment to the man.
Authorities say the firefighter was assaulted by the bystander, but didn’t need to go to the hospital.
The name of the victim hasn’t been released.
