MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Charges are pending against a 50-year-old Minot man accused of assaulting Berthold’s police chief.
Chief Al Schmidt says the man resisted arrest and tried to kick out a squad car window when arrested Monday night in an alleged domestic violence incident.
Schmidt suffered unspecified injuries and was treated at a hospital in Minot.
