GROTON, Conn. (AP) - A body has been found in the waters along Connecticut’s coast.

Police say the body was discovered in the Noank section of Groton around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The Groton Police Department says the case does not appear to be suspicious, and they are treating it as an untimely death.

Police say the body is not believed to be connected to the two boaters who went missing in Groton Sunday.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
