Police investigating death of toddler in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a toddler in north St. Louis.

Television station KSDK reports that 23-month-old Jream Polk was found unresponsive by officers Monday afternoon after police were called to the Greater Ville neighborhood.

The child was taken to a hospital, where she died of her injuries.

Police have not released other details about the child’s death. No arrests have been reported in the case.
