Maryland will host Virginia at the 2018 ACC/Big Ten challenge next season, according to CBS Sports/FanRag Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

The two teams last played on Dec. 3, 2014, with the Terrapins winning 75-69 in overtime. That matchup was the first time the two former conference rivals played after Maryland left the ACC for the Big Ten after the 2013-14 season.

The Terrapins beat the 5th-ranked Cavaliers in their final ACC regular-season game 75-69 at home in overtime on March 9, 2014.

Maryland has a 107-75 edge all-time against Virginia in a series that began in 1913 between the two former ACC foes and played almost every season from 1924-2014. Virginia won six straight in the series from 2011-2014.

The Terrapins have lost all four games in the event as a member of the Big Ten.

The other games in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge will be: Indiana at Duke; North Carolina at Michigan; Michigan State at Louisville; Nebraska at Clemson; Minnesota at Boston College; Syracuse at Ohio State; N.C. State at Wisconsin; Purdue at Florida State; Rutgers at Miami; Virginia Tech at Penn State; Pittsburgh at Iowa; Georgia Tech at Northwestern; Notre Dame at Illinois.
