Police say a pedestrian struck by a pickup in Grand Forks has died of his injuries.
Authorities say 42-year-old Jason Lee Longie was hit shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday in a pedestrian crosswalk. The driver of the pickup that struck him flagged down an officer for help. Police say the driver had a green light at the intersection where Longie was hit.
The victim was taken to Altru Hospital where he later died.
