SAN DIEGO (AP) - Police are searching for a gunman suspected of shooting and killing two men at a San Diego park.
Authorities say officers found the victims with gunshot wounds near the recreation center at Mountain View Park Sunday afternoon. The men, both in their 30s, died at a hospital.
Witnesses tell investigators the men were standing outside the rec center when a man approached, fired several rounds at them and then ran off. Police have not released a suspect description.
The San Diego Union-Tribune says detectives are searching for additional witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage.
The newspaper says a number of people were playing soccer nearby when the shooting happened.
