Authorities ID man whose body was found near Hastings

HASTINGS, Neb. (AP) - Authorities have identified human remains found just outside of Hastings as that of a Kansas man.

Television station KSNB reports that the body found around noon Monday was that of 58-year-old Ricky Ghan, of Wichita. Ghan’s remains were found by a groundskeeper who was mowing at the Motorsport Park Hastings.

Authorities say Ghan was last seen in Hastings on Oct. 14.

Officials say an autopsy did not indicate foul play.
